These two pieces are a pair. The chunk on the right I bought at a rock shop in South Dakota in August 2010. The quartz on the left is from a much larger rock shop in Arizona that I drove to the next year - without the Dakota rock - and tried to find a piece of quartz as close to the Dakota quartz as I could, by memory.
