Looking North from Belle Isle onto - or into - the Hollywood Rapids swath of the James River, as it surges past Hollywood Cemetery in Richmond Virginia. The river, here in late winter, is at Flood Stage (9 feet or above) from recent and anomalous torrential rains in late winter. Set up with both video and audio recording gear, someone walked up to me and asked me if I was recording, but the rapids were so loud it didn't pick up the voice.
